Taking Care of Business..... the PNP-way

Guess what happened to Renato Marasigan, the PNP Internal Affairs Service person who indicated that TMG Operate Belmonte was either shot by "friendly fire" or by himself? He was killed last night. Interestingtly enough, he was killed similar to the way FX was killed -- ambushed by assailants "who approached the car on foot. The assailants shot at Marasigan and one even opened the car door to make sure that the police officer was dead, investigators said."

Who are these assailants? According to the police, the assailants were NPA (communist) because it's their anniversary. Um... um... NPA huh? How can they be certain the NPA killed Marasigan so quickly? Is that what their state-of-the-art, super-secret, double-password CSI technology reveals? Must be the same technology they used to determine so quickly the reason why they killed FX.

C'mon, now.... you really believed that?! Leave the gullibility in the toilet and get back to reality. If Marasigan's death was shot on video, the police will say he was a drug dealer. In this case, there's no video, so the police says he was shot by the NPA.

If the "people in power" kill you in the Philippines - they justify this by branding you in the media as an NPA-Communist (remember those Leyte farmers?) or killed by the NPA, a carjacker, a kidnapper, a terrorist, a drug dealer, killed "while trying to escape" or killed because you shot the police first even if you had no guns and even if the bullets that may have hit the police came from the police own gun.

Evidence? Easily planted.
Witnesses? Easily coerced.
Due process of the law? What law? Whose law?

I wonder...

- Of all the PNP in the whole Philippines, why would the NPA target Marasigan, an Internal Affairs personnel who's brave enough to say that Belmonte was not a victim?

- Just because it is their anniversary? Hello?!

A POLICE officer assigned to the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame was shot dead in an ambush at 10:05 a.m. in Pasig City.
Chief Inspector Renato Marasigan, 53, of the PNP Internal Affairs Service (IAS) was on his way to work when ambushed on E. Jacinto corner J. Jobson Streets in Barangay (village) Malinao, said Pasig police chief Senior Superintendent Romeo Abaring.

Abaring said Marasigan was driving his Pajero when ambushed by four assailants who approached the car on foot. The assailants shot at Marasigan and one even opened the car door to make sure that the police officer was dead, investigators said.

The motive behind the killing has yet to be ascertained, but Eastern Police District Director Charlemagne Alejandrino said they were considering the possible involvement of communist hit men as the New People’s Army was celebrating its founding anniversary the same day Marasigan was killed.

Marasigan was the spokesperson of the IAS team that conducted an investigation into the Nov. 7, 2005 killing of three carjacking suspects in the Ortigas Center by operatives of the Traffic Management Group.

See part of the article on Marasigan's asssassination. Even his wife doubts the NPA is involved. It seems from newspaper reports Marasigan was not afraid to speak his mind in investigating th police.

"The Eastern Police District director, Chief Superintendent Charlemagne Alejandrino, theorized that communist rebels might be responsible.

Marasigan's wife however thought such was unlikely.

"That's only if he abused the NPA ... But you see my husband helps the masses. I know that my husband does not abuse common people. He only fights big people, not the small ones," Marasigan said."

Marasigan was not killed by the NPA. The CHR Report corroborated by Marasigan should be out now but I wonder what is delaying this? It may come out different from the version released by ABS-CBN last January. The Ortigas shooting is no ordinary killing of "alleged carnappers". If it were, then it would be over now as "alleged criminals" are EASILY killed for a few thousand pesos in the country.
There is a story here. There is a cover up here as it involves people in high
military/TMG/political places and their assets or syndicate stakeholders that manage the CARNAPPING in Metro Manila. Unfortunately for the TMG police there were witnesses and that damning UNTV Video. Unfortunately for these people, the Internal Affairs Services did not corroborate what the TMG said.
(who knows- maybe now they will if they don't want to be killed like Marasigan).
Unfortunately for the TMG, Francis Manzano's body was not cremated and
an objective study shows he did not shoot anyone nor did he have a machine gun. Some of us MEDIA REPORTERS know the true story. The people involved or know members of this carnapping syndicate know the real story. Manzano was not involved but he was in the wrong place
at the wrong time. There will be some "plea agreement" with real carnappers to implicate the 3 men. Why? The real heads want this case to be over. If the truth comes out - wow you cannot imagine the names involved! More will be killed who speak for justice...

  3. The Eastern Police District director, Chief Superintendent Charlemagne Alejandrino, theorized that communist rebels might be responsible.

"The NPA does not choose its enemies. Everyone in the government is their enemy, and this was their target of opportunity ... and just by the style of the shooting ... that he was ambushed," Alejandrino told reporters.

FX died exactly like Marasigan -- bullets from a distance and another bullet to his head at arm's length. Dead men tell no tales. Alejandrino contradicts himself because his men killed FX the same way those men killed Marasigan.

Blogger No 2 is right-on. The REAL brains of the BIG carnapping syndicate will ensure at ALL COSTS their identities are kept secret (kaya RUB OUT). They will bring false witnesses to incriminate your friend although they may only be afraid of one of his companions in the car. One of the big honchos on the scene has plans of running for a high level govt position soon (remember you read it first here)- no way will he want the public to know his connection to the syndicate. Anyone who imperils his ambitions needs to be rubbed out or assasinated. Not even CHR can stop him. Not even the President of the Philippines can stop him. Other bloggers have suggested you leave justice to God. I agree. You may have started your crusade out of your sincere desire for justice for your friend but I do not think you know who you are up against. Only God can truly bring justice. Give up your bitterness and pray for them.

  5. In my humble opinion, there is no room for bitterness when you seek for justice and peace. Bitterness comes from too much ego -- and the reason why small gang wars and huge political wars do not end.

I pray for justice. This blog is to speak the truth about FX, that he is innocent of any accusations the police has said about him to the media.

Filipinos must learn of ways to gain the courage to speak the truth. And you're right -- without bitterness.

  6. To add to your comment, I also pray that whoever that political person you're talking about will use his power to do good. I pray hard that, despite mistakes he has done, he will change for the better and improvement of our country. Lastly, I pray that he will have enough consciousness and power to clear FX's name from the lies told about him.

Ok we blame the corrupt police/military heads but how about blaming the Filipinos themselves- tayong mga Pinoy? Majority of us DO NOT really care for justice or are so apathetic or ignorant about what is true justice. Until someone close to us is killed and our voice will be one in 80 million which other Filipinos will not also care about either! All we Filipinos care about is food for our stomachs, a cell phone to text, some "mall-ing", some karaoke & beer, some "yabang" to put us a lil bit above our neighbors, waiting for dollars from our relatives who have to suffer & demean themselves to support us, watching those inane tv shows and living our lives vicariously through our idol-celebrities who really have no uplifting values to impart to us. The cops who plant evidence (see latest news on Pateros cops) or shoot people only get sacked from their positions and are not jailed-they even get promoted as "assets" of the police to do more unauthorized killings (blamed
on terrorists or NPAs.) Their bosses who order the killings continue living "la vida loca/la dolce vita", travel abroad 20 times a year and seen gracing the society pages in some lavish function. Kung mas-malakas ang padrino ko sa padrino mo, puede kitang pa rub-out kung masama ang tingin mo sa akin. Nabasa ko na sa America, citizens can sue the city who employ these rogue cops and the city pay millions which the taxpayers have to shoulder so the citizens themselves want to ensure the right people become cops as they don't want to be saddled with taxes from lawsuits due to stupid actions of cops. The dirty cops get jailed. Dito- ano? papatayin ka ng mga pulis kung mag-reklamo ka and we Filipinos even don't care!! So I pity you blogging for justice when the people who will benefit eventually don't really care! Nakakahiya ang Pinoy!

This is a continuous cycle. Good men, innocent men (like FX) have to be sacrificed for us to realize that we have to be more vigilant and persevering to seek for truth and justice. FX was a lamb set out to the slaugther house. Thank God for people like you (this Blog's author), we have a sense of release and relief that not all is lost in our quest for justice. Do persevere and continue as the family of FX surely owe you a debt of gratitude for keeping his spirit alive in us. More power!
